Pondicherry University Spot Admission: Pondicherry University has announced the dates for spot admission, which is to begin today. It is for the admission of the students who have not already secured the seats but have filled out the application form. The result for the CUET UG 2023 was released a long time ago on July 15, 2023. Spot admission is the final call to fill out the remaining seats left over for each course. Therefore, the spot admission for the PG integrated 5-year course starts today. However, it is going to be conducted physically, and the candidates are required to go to the university. Based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG), the day for registration for Pondicherry University begins today, 30th August 2023
Pondicherry University Spot Admission: Registration
The candidates can find the vacant seats in each department on their official website, pondiuni.edu.in/admissions, and select their interested course. Moreover, the applicants have to show up to the University with all the documents mentioned and present them. The failure to present any important document will lead to the cancellation of their selection. Therefore, the applicants of various five-year integrated courses must keep all their documents ready beforehand to avoid any mishaps. Apart from this, the applicants who get selected for the university will be asked to pay the fee. However, the fee has to be paid online. Furthermore, the university shared the statement, “It has been decided to permit the concerned Departments of the University to fill up the vacant seats by spot admission with the respective category candidates in the order of merit ”
Pondicherry University Spot Admission: Preference order
There is a preference order that will be followed by each department.
- First preference will be given to the candidated who showed excellent merit score but were not able to get selected in the first round.
- Second preference will be given to the candidates who were selected but have not paid the fee yet
- Third preference will be given who may not have applied, but fit into the required qualification category, of the particular subject
